Open Backed Dress

Opals hold a special place in my heart. When I graduated from college my grandmother gave me an opal ring as a graduation gift. Many years later (more than I'd like to admit!) I still own that ring.
As we gaze into the center of opals they mesmorize us because they sparkle with many vibrant colors ranging from clear through white, gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, magenta, rose, pink, olive, brown, and black. Of these hues, the reds against black are the most rare, whereas white and greens are the most common.
The world's largest and most valuable gem opal "Olympic Australis" weighs 17,000 carats and is 11 inches. &.........

It's hard to imagine a time when glass wasn't a part of everyday life, but for centuries glassmaking techniques were a carefully guarded secret. Fathers passed the craft of glassmaking to their sons, but rarely to anyone else.

Anything can be made with Swarovski crystals and I've got the pictures to prove it!
For those of you who are not aware, Swarovski is the brand name for a range of precisely-cut lead crystal and related luxury products produced by Swarovski AG of Wattens, Austria. Swarovski crystal is the finest crystal made in the world.
To create crystal glass that lets light refract in a rainbow spectrum, Swarovski coats some of its products with special metallic chemical coatings. Aurora Borealis, or "AB", is one of the most popular coatings, and gives the surface a rainbow appearance. I use crystals with the AB coating almost exclusively, as I find it gives an extra sparkle to my jewelry.
So, back to those pictures.
I .........

Can an earring's style enhance your features? Of course it can. And, with a mirror, you can choose the earring style that makes you look fabulous!
There are three basic earring styles - linear, chandelier and hoop. Each style can accentuate your features and downplay areas you wish to avoid. For example, as with clothing, vertical lines in earring styles will draw the eye up and visually elongate features. Horizontal lines will draw the eye from side to side and accent the width of your face.
Below describe the various shapes of faces and examples of earrings from my collection that you can wear.
Round Face: Vertical lines of linear, drop-style and narrow chandelier earrings will add height and provide an .........
