Anything can be made with Swarovski crystals and I've got the pictures to prove it!

For those of you who are not aware, Swarovski is the brand name for a range of precisely-cut lead crystal and related luxury products produced by Swarovski AG of Wattens, Austria. Swarovski crystal is the finest crystal made in the world.

To create crystal glass that lets light refract in a rainbow spectrum, Swarovski coats some of its products with special metallic chemical coatings. Aurora Borealis, or "AB", is one of the most popular coatings, and gives the surface a rainbow appearance. I use crystals with the AB coating almost exclusively, as I find it gives an extra sparkle to my jewelry.

So, back to those pictures.

I was browsing Google one day looking for reviews on vacuum cleaners and came across a picture of one covered in Swarovski crystals (or, as those in the biz call them, "swarkies"). Now, I know that I deserve the finer things in life but even I thought "This is too crazy". That started me searching for other things made from swarkies. Here are the most bizarre I have found.

The item that started it all.

Pink Swarovski headphones

Dog bed covered with 95,000 Swarovski crystals

Toilet covered with 100,000 crystals

Mercedes Benz covered with a gazillion Swarovskis

So, if you desire something one of a kind or you're like me and want something a little less showy  (but still a show stopper), pick up any number of Swarovski pieces on my site. Here is an example of a piece guaranteed to catch anyone's eye.  What do you think?
